Right to Build expo comes to Fareham, Hampshire

The next in the series of custom and self-build information events delivered by NaCSBA, the Right to Build taskforce and Wood for Good will take place in Fareham, Hampshire on 6 September 2018.

Charlie Luxton, architectural designer, Self Build champion and presenter will give insight on latest projects. Richard Bacon MP will update delegates on why it is in the best interest of local communities to support custom and self build housing in their area while Mario Wolf, taskforce director, will give in-depth information on various models to deliver much-needed housing via custom and self build.

The programme includes practical examples including nearby Welbourne Garden Village.

Delegates will learn about facilitating delivery through the planning system and mortgage availability as well as how to work with custom build enablers.

A choice of five masterclasses gives ample opportunity to delve deeper into the most critical issues around custom and self build and how to kick-start a Right to Build project in the area.

Who should attend

Local authorities, community groups and individuals, architects, landowners, developers, planners, custom and self-builders.

Further information on the programme can be found here. Book your ticket here.
