Following a day of deliberation and difficult decisions, the shortlist for The Wood Awards 2011 has now been confirmed. Details of the shortlist can be found here.

Re-launched in 2003, The Wood Awards have made their mark on the architectural and design landscape, becoming a ‘mark of excellence’ in wood, with past Gold Winners including leading names such as Glenn Howells (for the Savill Building) and Simon Conder (for Pinion’s Barn).

The list of Wood Awards sponsors includes most of the leading organisations involved in wood marketing and education in the UK including the Carpenters’ Company, the American Hardwood Export Council (AHEC), TRADA and Wood For Good.

Following a day of deliberation and difficult decisions, the shortlist for The Wood Awards 2011 has now been confirmed. Details of the shortlist can be found here.
