Heb Homes

A new Hebridean vernacular flat-pack modern eco-home for all budgets.

About this project

Hebhomes offer a wide range of flat-pack homes to suit all families, budgets and levels of expertise. Eco-friendly designs, inspired by traditional Hebridean architecture, are sympathetic to the landscape and can be readily adapted to specific location and requirements.

Created by award-winning architecture firm Dualchas, Hebhomes offer all airy, open-plan living, floor-to-ceiling windows and modern interior design details like polished concrete or oak-wood flooring echoing traditional forms – like blackhouses, longhouses and agricultural sheds. In addition to turnkey solutions, they can be supplied as a self-build house kit.

All Hebhomes use either advanced ‘structurally insulated panels’ (SIPs), where the insulation is integral to the structure or cross-laminated timber (CLT). All homes can be specified as zero carbon homes.
